The Mouscron production site, created in 1993, thanks to its infrastructures, makes it possible to limit discharges, reduce losses as much as possible and put recycling in place at the heart of our actions. In order to continuously improve our environmental impact, 5,900 solar panels on 21,000 m² of roofs are present on the production site. This green energy is equivalent to the annual consumption of 342 households.
Our installations
Vandeputte has 2 production sites, one in Mouscron in Belgium which covers 8.3 hectares, 25,000 m² covered and another in Hesdin l’Abbé (Boulogne-sur-Mer) in France which has an area of 4.8 hectares with 10 000 m² covered. Having two production sites allows us to have flexibility, an openness to Europe.
Mouscron site
Boulogne-sur-Mer site
The Boulogne-sur-Mer site, acquired in 2016, is an ECOCONCUE factory in Europe’s 1st ISO 14001 certified business park. The green roof allows 25% energy savings, the buildings are designed in cellular concrete to allow better thermal regulation. The wooden frame with skylights saves energy. There is therefore less artificial light and therefore advantageous comfort for employees. The plant is equipped with a pipe scraping system for cleaning, packaging is collected and recycled there, rainwater is also collected there.
